The 2026 Shorty’s Run brought runners, walkers, families, and friends together for a memorable morning on the Lower Trail.The event honored the memory of Tammy “Shorty” Briggs, whose spirit remains at the heart of the race, while recognizing Nancy Kyper for the many years she dedicated to carrying on this special tradition. Nancy encouraged generations of young people to work hard, run faster, and discover what they could accomplishoverall winners
